Our doors opened in November 2006 when our President took a hiatus from serving as a General Manager in the auto industry for over 25 years. Wanting to make a change and do something to give back to his community, he teamed with a Bay Area native professional who has over 20 years of experience in public relations and charity work and together they immediately started researching which charities were in need of a car donation program. With his veteran experience in the auto industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge on where and how to place a donated vehicle to maximize the write-off for the donor and to maximize profits for the charity.
Only 12 months after having our doors open, we were recognized in the San Jose Mercury News as a reputable organization and earning our stripes as the “one” to call when you want to donate your vehicle. We are family owned and work closely as a team with complete dedication to our partners, and to each other.
We are not your typical car donation program. We don’t ask our donors 100 questions and we don’t cherry pick the vehicles that are being donated. We understand that our donors need a quick and easy process and that is why we offer unbeatable hours of operation offering same day service and making ourselves available 7 days a week.
What We Do
We are charity advocates and work hard for our National and International charitable non-profit organizations processing all of their car donations from inception to completion. This means we place all the ads, schedule all pick-ups, do all the DMV paperwork, leave the donor with a tax-deduction certificate, and tow the vehicle to the charity auction! The next step is to get the vehicle sold and get a check to our charity partners.
We also work hard to educate ourselves and the donors on each of our charity’s programs. We are an extension of our partners as most charities do not have the monetary budget or the experience with the vehicle donation process to facilitate one. Our Charity partners depend on us, so together we work hand-in-hand to make their vehicle donation program a success!
